10 Twenty Five to host third Annual Autism Acceptance Cornhole Tournament April 22 to benefit Family Initiative

10 Twenty Five in downtown Fort Myers is hosting its third annual Autism Acceptance Cornhole tournament fundraiser on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. to benefit Family Initiative.

“More than just fun and games, this event will help us raise awareness of autism acceptance as well as raise funds to purchase and build a sensory trailer that will help the children we serve by providing those with sensory issues a safe refuge from crowds or activities that might be overwhelming. It will also be retrofitted with proper lighting and tactile toys that support the communication and social needs of children with autism. Through this trailer and our ongoing efforts, Family Initiative strives to create innovative ways to make activities and events more accessible and accommodating to children and their families.”

Registration for the cornhole tournament is open online or on site at 10:30 a.m. on April 22. Teams will receive arm bands and commemorative cups with a $100 entry fee. Games will begin at 11 a.m. and fishbowl raffle prizes including a Yeti cooler, tumblers and electric scooter will be given out all day.

Russ Berner Construction is this year’s title sponsor. Additional sponsors include Fort Myers Fire Department, 10 Twenty-Five, Gavin Ace Hardware, Downtown House of Pizza, The Lucky Screw

Seed and Bean, J Van Hart Provisions, Fabritech, Independent Marine Surveyors and PaddyWagon’s Irish Pub.
