The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s Magic Under the Mangroves gala and auction supports the organization’s mission to protect our water, land, wildlife and future in Southwest Florida. While the Conservancy is a long-time client, this was our first year managing their signature fundraising event, Magic Under the Mangroves, so the possibilities were endless.

The client’s goal was to utilize the entire tent to create an immersive, 360-degree experience that connected guests with the mission, and to create impactful videos that would inspire guests to bid high in support of the organization’s internship program. Additionally, we managed all the vendors and event logistics, from décor to set up to the music, the program and event flow, including a silent auction, dinner and live auction.

Working with our partner’s at Harmon’s AV, our teams developed and executed a dramatic audio-visual presentation. The focal point of the center stage was a large circular screen that displayed a video that generated emotion and excitement to kick off the evening. At the conclusion of the video, the screen dropped to reveal the Conservancy’s president and CEO Rob Moher, joined by a team of interns. It was a magical start to a record-setting fundraiser, and it left the crowd cheering and raising their bid numbers, in support of this year’s fund-a-need – the Conservancy internship program. The 14th annual event raised a record of $1.9 million!

However, it’s more than making magic, as it takes a team of highly dedicated and skilled professionals to create and execute a flawless production. Collaborating with our innovative vendors and partners, we continue to raise the bar for the region’s largest and most-talked-about fundraisers, helping our clients exceed their goals.
