Alico Family Golf Center welcomes PGA Professional Tom Speicher as its Director of Golf Instruction. Speicher brings more than 25 years of golf instruction and program management to the position. He and his staff are introducing new golf learning programs for adults and juniors including weekly clinics, private and group lessons, junior summer camps, and Get Golf Ready classes. A Class A PGA member, Speicher utilizes the most advanced teaching technologies and is an authorized instructor for the Stack and Tilt golf swing system as well as the The Golfing Machine.

Speicher adds, “I’m excited for my students because the new facility provides the ability to practice all aspects of their game. The practice operation features manicured turf, full-distance golf balls, accurate targets, and a superb sand and short game area. From the new golfer to the low-handicapper, Alico Family Golf Center offers instruction programs for everyone.”

Alico Family Golf Center is a new 30-acre, state-of-the-art practice center opening in January 2014. It includes a 5,600-square-foot clubhouse, a sports cafe, 18 skillful holes of miniature golf, nine non-intimidating holes of hybrid SNAG (Starting New At Golf) golf, PGA teaching school, short game area, 60 grass tee boxes, and 10 shaded tee boxes with cooling misters. Located at 16300 Lee Rd. in Fort Myers, the Alico Family Golf center is designed for all ages, and offers programs for serious golfers, as well as new and returning golfers.
