KLCB is Lee County’s leading nonprofit that brings people together to build and sustain vibrant communities. With a network of individuals, businesses, civic, environmental and governmental organizations, KLCB works with thousands of volunteers to take action in their communities by offering solutions that create clean, beautiful public places, reduce waste and increase recycling, generate positive impact on local economies, and inspire generations of environmental stewards. Berkey joined the Pavese Law Firm in 2011 and her practice focuses primarily on resolving land use and zoning, real estate and environmental issues related to the development of land. She graduated with pro bono distinction from the University of North Carolina School of Law and earned her Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also received her A.B. degree from Franklin & Marshall College, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Berkey serves as Director on the Franklin & Marshall College Alumni Association Board and Co-Chair for the Urban Land Institute Southwest Florida Young Leaders Group and Women’s Leadership Initiative.  Berkey is also a founding Board member of the Young Professionals for Animal Protection, Inc. (YAP) and was recognized as one of Gulfshore Business’ “Top 40 Under 40” for her professional and civic contributions in 2014.
