Attorney and Certified Land Planner, Kathleen Oppenheimer Berkey, selected as a “Top-Idea Maven” by The Woman’s Advantage®

Advice featured in 2017 Woman’s Advantage® Calendar

Kathleen Oppenheimer Berkey, Esq., AICP, a land use, zoning and local government attorney and certified land planner at Pavese Law Firm in Fort Myers, was selected from over 5,000 submissions to be featured in The 2017 Woman’s Advantage® Shared Wisdom Calendar. The calendar provides advice for women business owners from influential women leaders across the U.S. and around the world. This is Berkey’s second selection, having been previously featured in The 2015 Woman’s Advantage® Shared Wisdom Calendar.

Berkey joined the Pavese Law Firm in 2011 and her practice focuses primarily on resolving land use and zoning, real estate and environmental issues related to the development of land. She graduated with pro bono distinction from the University of North Carolina School of Law and earned her Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also received her A.B. degree from Franklin & Marshall College, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Berkey serves on the Franklin & Marshall College Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc. Board of Directors, and the Urban Land Institute Southwest Florida Executive Committee.  Berkey is also a founding board member of the Young Professionals for Animal Protection, Inc. (YAP) and was recognized as one of Gulfshore Business’ “Top 40 Under 40” for her professional and civic contributions in 2014.
