Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee Michael Koroghlian mentors Naples JROTC students at recent event

 Speaks about the importance of team building and employee encouragement

Local Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee Michael Koroghlian recently served as a guest speaker at a Golden Gate High School Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program meeting in Naples. Koroghlian spoke on the topic of business management, highlighting inspirational stories and unique lessons learned as a Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee, as well as the importance of employee encouragement and team building.

 

The Golden Gate High School JROTC students, who are from a range of diverse backgrounds, are taught the importance of leadership roles, student achievement and diversity. Koroghlian, a successful franchisee for 10 years, shared with the JROTC students the importance of workplace diversity and discussed employment opportunities with Dunkin’ Donuts. He also spoke about the resources offered to Dunkin’ Donuts employees, including the free English classes he offers employees to help eliminate language barriers.

 

“The JROTC is a very influential program for the youth in our community as it encourages students to set and achieve long-term goals,” Koroghlian said. “The students have a bright future ahead of them and I look forward to continuing to support the youth in the JROTC program by providing opportunities and resources through my Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.”
