Experienced litigation attorney Robert V. White

Attorney Robert V. White has joined Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, a 60-year-old Southwest Florida personal injury law firm. He specializes in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death and property damage claims, and previously served as an insurance defense attorney for nearly 10 years.

“Robert was an opponent in several cases, so we were familiar with his skill,” said Christopher J. Smith, a managing partner. “Robert brings a lot of experience fighting for the rights of his clients and ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve.”

White grew up in Birmingham, Ala., and has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alabama. He received his law degree from Mississippi College. He started his law career in Destin and Pensacola, where his father lives and is licensed to practice in Florida and Alabama. He originally thought he would be a sportswriter but decided to pursue a career in law. He moved to Fort Myers in 2015.

White and his wife love to travel, particularly to Europe, and he is a passionate Crimson Tide football fan.

Established in 1962, Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz attorneys have combined experience of more than 200 years.
