Five Pavese Law Firm attorneys named to 2020 Best Lawyers in America list

Pavese Law Firm partners, William T. Haverfield II, Christopher J. Shields, Steven C. Hartsell, Neale Montgomery, and Frank A. Pavese, Jr. were selected by peers for inclusion in the 26th edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Haverfield was selected in the practice area of Family Law, Shields was selected in the practice area of Real Estate Law, Hartsell was selected in the practice area of Land Use and Zoning Law, Montgomery was recognized in the practice area of Land Use and Zoning Law, and Pavese was recognized in the practice area of Real Estate Law.

Board Certified in Marital and Family Law, Haverfield focuses on complex marital litigation including business valuations and real estate appraisal issues related to dissolution of marriage. He joined Pavese Law Firm in 1969 and served as managing partner from 1990 until 2011.

Shields is Florida Bar Board Certified in both Real Estate Law and Condominium and Planned Development Law. His primary area of focus is residential and commercial condominium, cooperative and homeowners’ association law, and provides legal counsel to developers, builders, community associations and lenders throughout Southwest Florida. He joined Pavese Law Firm in 1984 and became a partner in 1990.

Hartsell is Florida Bar Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law. He concentrates his practice in zoning, land use and development law as well as local government administrative law matters, representing clients before city and county commissions, councils and boards in hearings throughout Southwest Florida. Hartsell joined Pavese Law Firm in 1986 and became a partner in the firm in 1990.

Montgomery’s practice areas are land use, local government, environmental, water and real estate law. She is involved with real estate development and permitting issues at the local, regional, state and federal level. Montgomery joined Pavese Law Firm in 1986 and became a partner in 1991.

In addition to Real Estate Law, Pavese concentrates his practice in most aspects of civil litigation, with emphasis on construction matters, business and family disputes.  He joined Pavese Law Firm in 1986 and became a partner in 1991.
