Fort Myers Brewing Company is hosting Craft Beer for Clean Water at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, a community fundraiser to benefit Captains for Clean Water.
The event will feature craft brews, food trucks, live music and prize drawings, with a goal of raising money to help the 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit in its mission to restore and protect Florida’s water resources for the use and enjoyment of all. Guests can enjoy local eats from Cositas Gourmet, Vesuvius Wood Fired Pizza and Viva La Taco and live music all evening long with performances by David Rojas and Hat Trick.
Additionally, Fort Myers Brewing has teamed up with Captains for Clean Water to debut a special release of Send It South Pale Ale, a classic American Pale Ale brewed with Strata, Grungeist and Cascade hops. The brew features notes of strawberry, grapefruit, passionfruit and candied orange peel with a clean, crisp and dry finish. Proceeds from sales of the limited-edition brew will go directly to Captains for Clean Water.
