Gora/McGahey Architects (GMA) has completed the design documents for Park Regency at The Forum for Michael Kerner of Senior Care of Southwest Florida Development LLC. The Forum is located in Fort Myers near the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and I-75. Construction of Park Regency will begin this fall.
The new Park Regency building, which is scheduled to be completed in fall 2011, is designed to house services for assisted living and Alzheimer’s care. The Mediterranean-style building features two atriums for natural light, a three-story independent living facility, a two-story assisted living area and a one-story Alzheimer’s wing.
Dan McGahey of GMA is the principal in charge; Rick McCormack is the project manager; and Vanderbilt Bay Construction is the general contractor.
