Guadalupe Center, a nonprofit organization focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through education, is excited to announce five show-stopping items up for auction at its 2018 Signature Event, “Welcome Aboard.” Presented by The Moglia Family Foundation on behalf of Amy and Paul Heuerman, “Welcome Aboard” will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples. Bidders will have the chance to raise their paddles for exclusive items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, with all proceeds benefiting Guadalupe Center’s three educational programs serving Immokalee students from cradle to career: Early Childhood Education, After-school Tutoring & Summer Enrichment and the college preparatory Tutor Corps Program.
International travel enthusiasts seeking unique and indulgent experiences will be raising their paddles to secure a seven-day Mediterranean cruise for two, either from Rome to Barcelona, or from Barcelona to Monte Carlo. Accommodations in the all-inclusive V1 verandah suite aboard Seabourn’s Odyssey-class ship will provide a beautiful backdrop amid breathtaking scenery. On-board spa and enrichment programs designed by Dr. Andrew Weil, of True Food Kitchen, and Chef Thomas Keller, aim to please, while one night of pre-cruise luxury accommodations in the departing port city plus transfers are also included for ease of travel throughout.
For a getaway steeped in Alpine decadence, patrons may bid on a package that features three-day tickets to the World-Famous Aspen Food & Wine Festival and a five-day, four-night stay at Hotel Jerome, an Auberge Resort in Aspen. This trip also includes golf for two at the Aspen Golf and Tennis Club. This pleasure-packed weekend of fine food and wine, and mingling with the stars all at the base of spectacular Aspen Mountain embodies the essence of elevated Rocky Mountain living, all within walking distance from town.
For a memorable maritime experience a little closer to home, the highest bidder will enjoy an exquisite evening aboard a luxury yacht selected by MarineMax Naples Yacht Center as one of its finest. This lot includes dinner for a party of eight from a chef-selected menu at the renowned Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club, a two-hour sunset cruise of Naples Bay’s blue waters, and white wine and hors d’oeuvres or delectable desserts.
Avid entertainers may also revel in an elegant dinner under the stars at a uniquely special venue at the Waterside Shops. To the successful bidder goes an elaborate gathering for 20 around a beautifully decorated table, showcasing Garden District floral arrangements. Guests will be treated to a customized Crave Culinaire menu that pairs each course with premium wines. A photographer will capture all the memorable moments, while guests enjoy live entertainment and a surprise party favor from a Waterside Shop exclusive retailer. The host will also receive a $1,000 Waterside Shops gift card.
Lovers of fine jewelry will vie to clasp up a stunning custom diamond and 18k white gold bracelet designed by Port Royal Jewelers. The exquisite piece sparkles beyond compare with three carats of modern brilliant cut diamonds, G in color and VS clarity.
