Taking Care of Family, Clients & Community for Three Decades

Hole Montes adds three to growing Naples office

Hole Montes has added three professionals to its Naples office as the firm responds to additional demands for services in Collier County.

The three additions include Kevin Dowty, P.E., project manager; Jon Waters, project manager; and Wayne Bauer, design technician.

“Kevin, Jon and Wayne have spent their entire professional careers in the Naples and Fort Myers area, and their familiarity with local developers, communities and government agencies is a huge asset for our firm,” said Bob Mulhere, president of Hole Montes. “As Naples and inland communities continue to flourish in Collier County, our firm is well-positioned to take on additional work from clients needing design and management expertise.”

Dowty carries out civil design for private and public site development projects from Hole Montes’ Naples office. Dowty has served as a project engineer since 2012 for two local firms, specializing in stormwater modeling and water quality analyses. He is president of the Florida Engineering Society’s Calusa Chapter and is a former recipient of the organization’s Young Engineer of the Year Award. Dowty holds Bachelor of Science degrees in civil engineering and environmental engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Waters joins Hole Montes’ environmental engineering department in Naples and will focus on private and public general civil and utility projects. Since 2016, Waters has worked at a Fort Myers firm as a project engineer responsible for permitting, data collection, design and construction oversight for an array of waterfront projects. Waters’ skills include permitting, design, data collection, plan preparation and construction inspection services. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and environmental engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University, and recently passed the Florida P.E. exam.

Another new addition to the company’s land development department in Naples is Bauer, who completes AutoCAD plans for private and public site developments. He has worked as a CAD technician and designer since 2005 for several Collier and Lee firms. His work includes design for major thoroughfares like U.S. 41, Summerlin Road and State Road 82. His experience also includes projects involving remodeling and expansion of commercial and residential buildings, underground utilities, subdivisions and site development projects.
