The Aubuchon Team of Companies has donated more than $25,000 over the past four years to help the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) Builders Care program provide free home repair services to disadvantaged Lee County residents.

Each year, The Aubuchon Team of Companies hosts a fundraiser for local charities through its Helping Hands for the Holidays event. The 2010 holiday event raised more than $26,000 for three local charities including Builders Care.

“This donation demonstrates Team Aubuchon’s ongoing commitment to Builders Care and the industry,’’ said Heidi Taulman, Builders Care executive director. “We are so grateful to have their continued support even during these tough times.”

Gary Aubuchon, president of  The Aubuchon Team of Companies, serves on the board of directors for the Lee Building Industry Association.
