Reservations and sponsorships are available for the 22nd Annual Industry Appreciation Week awards ceremony on Friday, Sept. 20 at the Harborside Event Center in downtown Fort Myers River District. More than 1,000 local business and community leaders are expected to attend the awards luncheon which begins with a networking hour at 10:30 a.m., followed by the lunch and program. The awards ceremony honors businesses and industries that help to improve the business environment in Lee County. Local companies will be honored in several categories and include the Lee County newcomer award, the business expansion award, small business, large business, manufacturing and tourism.

Presented by the Horizon Council, an advisory group to the Lee County Board of Commissioners and Fort Myers Regional Partnership, Lee County’s Economic Development Office, Industry Appreciation Week is a statewide event designed to create public awareness about how industry boosts the state’s economy.
