Lee BIA Builders Care announces 2017 board of directors

Lee BIA Builders Care, the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) announces its 2017 board of directors, led by president Dan Beiter, partner, Riverview Homes, LLC; vice president Michael Reitmann, director of international marketing, Marvin Development Corp; secretary Butch Ritter, president, Cape Coral Plumbing; treasurer, Annette Nilles, president, Nilles Design Group, Inc.; and immediate past president, Chris Brasher, Florida director of branch management, Ferguson Enterprises. Other 2017 board members include: Wendi Carroll, partner, Carroll Properties; Bob Bassett, area president, BB&T; Randy Thibaut, CEO, Land Solutions, Inc.; Teri Hansen, APR, president and creative director, Priority Marketing; Jimmy Rodgers, president, Westcoast Structural Concrete & Masonry, Inc.; Philip Ford, executive vice president, Lee BIA; Charles Thornton, territory manager, Ferguson Enterprises; P.J. Anzalone, general manager, Ferguson Enterprises; Richard Durling, president of Marvin Development Corp. and president of Lee BIA; and Gregg Truxton, Esq., attorney with Bolaños Truxton, PA.

The board of directors will guide the nonprofit in selecting recipients for donated construction services and raising funds for projects, overseeing the agency’s operational and financial policies, and helping to plan and coordinate renovation projects and events. The team of volunteers will continue to assist Lee BIA Builders Care Executive Director Christi Pritchett Sarlo in carrying out the organization’s mission of providing emergency home repairs and construction services to elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged homeowners of Lee County. Lee BIA Builders Care is currently celebrating 10 years of service, and to date, has provided over $4 million of services at no cost to homeowners in Lee County with over 300 projects completed.

About Builders Care:

Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA). Its objective is to provide emergency repairs and construction services to elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged people who are unable to obtain home repairs through traditional means. To date, Lee BIA Builders Care has put more than $4 Million in construction services back into the community at no cost to homeowners in need.  Builders Care enlists the volunteer services of Lee BIA members and leverages grants and donated materials to provide construction and remodeling services to qualified homeowners throughout Lee County. Major supporters include Cape Coral Plumbing, Ferguson Enterprises, Nilles Design Group, Priority Marketing of Southwest Florida, Lennar, Sunset Air and The Aubuchon Team of Companies.
