Lee County will host the USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Florida Level 1-10 State Championships April 1-2 at Estero Recreational Center, located at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. in Estero. The meet will bring gymnasts from around the state to compete in Lee County.

Last year’s event attracted more than 500 out-of-town sports visitors to Lee County resulting in approximately 300 hotel room nights, more than $100,000 in direct spending and approximately $175,000 in direct economic impact.

Competition will take place April 1-2 and will feature morning and afternoon sessions each day. On April 1, the morning session will begin at 8:45 a.m. for Level 8-10 athletes, followed by the afternoon session at 2:15 p.m. for Level 6-7. On April 2, the morning session will begin at 8:45 a.m. for Level 5 gymnasts, followed by the afternoon session at 1:15 p.m. for Level 1-4. Each session will conclude with an awards ceremony.

The meet will be open to the public, with admission available at $12 per day for adults, $8 per day for children ages 6-17, and free for children under 5 years old.
