Mark Loren, owner of Mark Loren Designs, invites the Southwest Florida community to join him in supporting Alzheimer’s awareness in honor of his father, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. In observance of National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, Mark Loren Designs will offer a special month-long promotion. During the month of November, Mark Loren Designs will make a donation to Alvin Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center for every customer who visits the Fort Myers Gallery, giving guests the opportunity to spin a wheel to determine the donation amount.
The designer, who is celebrating 30 years of business in Southwest Florida, is also offering 30 percent off of all designs, gemstones and repairs during November.
In addition, Loren is hosting a contest to give away a custom-designed ring created by Mark Loren Designs. The winner of the Mark Loren Designs contest will receive a sterling silver ring, pave set with natural fancy colored Sapphires accenting a 13-carat Brazilian Oval Amethyst in the center. The purple gem is representative of the signature color of Alzheimer’s awareness. Registration for the contest can be completed at the Mark Loren Designs’ Fort Myers Gallery, and the drawing will take place Nov. 30.
“Alzheimer’s awareness is a cause that is truly special to my heart because my father was greatly affected by this disease, and I believe that this is a matter of which our community needs to be informed,” said Loren. “The month of November is dedicated to honoring not only my father, but all of our families, friends and loved ones who have been affected by this disease.”
