Mark Stevens, president of Stevens Construction Inc., was recently appointed to the Lake Nona Business Alliance, a non-profit organization focused on promoting, enhancing and diversifying the business climate in the Lake Nona vicinity of Orlando.
Organized in 2010, the membership of the Alliance is comprised of senior executives involved in the development and economic vitality in Southeast Orlando from such organizations as Florida Hospital, Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute and Dream Factory Productions.
The Alliance enables businesses engaged in or connected with Medical City to have a voice and representation when it comes to working on both local and state issues. “We’re a centralized point of inquiry for businesses or organizations seeking information about the community,” said Mark Stevens.
Stevens Construction expanded operations in 2008 with a Maitland office to serve central Florida clients. The company recently completed the 11,052-square feet Surgery Center of Mount Dora and 33,636-square feet Bud and Donna Somers Hospice House in Sebring.
