As a Building Industry Association (BIA) Certified Building Partner, Minto’s donation provides funding to assist Builders Care in helping local homeowners in need of renovations, and will provide funds for wheelchair ramps, handicap accessibility, widened doorways, roof and air conditioning repairs and more. In 2014, Minto also will donate company services and resources to complete a large residential renovation project for a qualifying homeowner in Lee County.

About BIA Builders Care

Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the BIA. Its objective is to provide emergency repairs and construction services to elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged people who are unable to obtain home repairs through traditional means. To date, Lee BIA Builders Care has put more than $2.4 Million in construction services back into the community at no cost to homeowners in need.
