Naples Center for Functional Medicine offers free class exploring impact of hormones on health and wellness

Naples Center for Functional Medicine will host a complimentary class on Dec. 4 exploring the role of hormones and how fluctuations can impact health and wellness.

Hormones: Fatigue or Fiesta? explores the role of hormones in the human body and how a hormone imbalance – too much or too little – can impact mood, energy levels, appetite, concentration, bodily function, mental health, sleep, illness, disease and more.

The class will be led by Medical Director Dr. Carol L. Roberts, who has practiced functional, integrative and holistic medicine for more than 25 years. Roberts will explain the difference between normal and abnormal fluctuations, as well as potential natural remedies that help optimize patients’ hormone levels. Naples Center for Functional Medicine also offers a variety of hormone replacement therapies that create an ideal balance for patients.

Hormones: Fatigue or Fiesta? begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Naples Center for Functional Medicine, 800 Goodlette Road, Suite 270, in Naples.

The class is free to attend, but RSVPs are encouraged by visiting NaplesCFM.com/functional-medicine-event or calling 239-649-7400.
