Owen-Ames-Kimball Company (OAK) announces that project manager Hector Yanez has earned his Florida professional engineering license.

 

Yanez has a Master of Science degree in construction engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the Industrial University of Santander, Bucaramanga, Colombia. He has worked in the construction industry since 2000, joining OAK in 2004 as a job site superintendent on the Charlotte County Public Schools hurricane recovery project. He is a LEED® accredited professional through the United States Green Building Council and was a part of the team assisting Charlotte County Public Schools with LEED certification of the first elementary school in Florida to receive that designation.
