Local business leaders will learn about recent developments in employment law from Pavese Law Firm partner Christina Harris Schwinn on Monday, Nov. 4. Schwinn’s presentation to Rotary Club of Fort Myers South takes place during their noon lunch meeting at the Crowne Plaza at 13051 Bell Tower Dr. in Fort Myers.

In her presentation titled, “Employment Law Update: What You Should Know About Recent Developments Affecting Employers. Did you know that there is an app for that?” Schwinn will provide attendees with highlights from recent U.S. Supreme Court cases of significance and employee outreach initiatives by the Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to educate employees about their rights under federal law.

Schwinn’s primary practice areas are employment law, business transactions, community association law and real estate law. Schwinn, who joined Pavese Law Firm in 2005, is an accomplished public speaker and regularly writes articles that have been published both locally and nationally in a variety of publications.
