Realtor Jack Martin earns CCIM designation

The Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association is proud to announce its board member, Jack Martin of Century 21 Selling Paradise, has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute.

The designation was recently awarded during CCIM’s mid-year governance meeting in San Antonio, Texas in April. Martin was among the 171 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the CCIM Institute’s comprehensive examination, the capstone element in the designation process.

“We are very proud of Jack and congratulate him on this notable achievement,” said Beate Jones, CEO of the Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association. “Earning the prestigious CCIM designation serves as testament to Jack’s commitment to elevating the profession and serving as a knowledgeable resource for his clients.”

To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis and ethics in commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.

“I saw the value in the CCIM designation many years ago when I first embarked on this journey with the goal of attaining the designation and becoming thoroughly educated in all aspects of commercial real estate,” Martin said.

Martin is the commercial director at Century 21 Selling Paradise in Cape Coral. He is a member of the Florida CCIM Chapter and serves on the board of directors for the Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association and Florida Realtors, as public policy chair for the Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association and vice chair of the association’s Commercial Alliance, and on the Public Policy Committee for the National Association of Realtors. Beyond the real estate industry, Martin also serves on the board of directors for Bishop Verot High School, as a deputy grand knight for the Knights of Columbus Council 7131, chartered organization representative for Boy Scouts Troop 34 Cape Coral and past president of the Rotary Club of Cape Coral.
