Registration now open for Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s fourth annual WaterWorks Luncheon

The Water Brothers, eco-adventure filmmakers to keynote Jan. 18 event

Registration is now available for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s fourth annual WaterWorks Luncheon, taking place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 at the Conservancy Nature Center. Advocating for Southwest Florida’s most valuable natural resource, water, the fundraising event will include lunch and a meet and greet with Conservancy staff and featured speakers Alex and Tyler Mifflin of The Water Brothers eco-adventure documentary series. Proceeds will support the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s efforts to protect water quality, fisheries and estuaries in Southwest Florida.

“As the basis of our community and the foundation of our economy, water is essential to all life here in Southwest Florida, and it is imperative that we join in protecting this natural resource for future generations,” said Rob Moher, Conservancy of Southwest Florida president and CEO. “The annual WaterWorks Luncheon is key to supporting the Conservancy’s efforts to protect our region’s water, and we look forward diving deeper into the problems and solutions as The Water Brothers share their passion and expertise for water conservation.”

Alex and Tyler Mifflin host the documentary series, The Water Brothers, which follows the Mifflin brothers as they explore the world, uncovering the most important water stories of our time. The series takes viewers on the search to learn more about water conservation, and discover solutions to help better protect this precious natural resource.

The fourth annual WaterWorks Luncheon is presented by The Naples Trust Company, and The Weston Foundation is the speaker sponsor. Supporting sponsors include CenturyLink, Waller Financial Planning Group, Presstige Printing, LongHorn Steakhouse and Gulfshore Life.
