Shell Point’s Community Thrift Store celebrates sixth year in business

Anniversary celebration to include 50 percent savings, giveaways

Shell Point Retirement Community’s Community Thrift Store is celebrating its sixth year in business, and invites Southwest Florida residents to join the celebration during a storewide summer sale, taking place Tuesday, July 11, through Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 15501 Old McGregor Boulevard #2 in Fort Myers.

To celebrate its sixth anniversary, Community Thrift Store will offer bargain hunters 50 percent off all items throughout the store, as well as a chance to win prize giveaways, including free tickets to upcoming Shell Point Summer Concert Series performances at Shell Point Retirement Community.

Community Thrift Store offers boutique clothing, shoes and jewelry; home décor, kitchen items and furniture; as well as construction materials, appliances and fixtures. Shell Point Retirement Community, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving seniors in Southwest Florida, opened the Community Thrift Store in 2011. The Community Thrift Store is located in Miner’s Plaza, next to Planet Fitness, on the corner of McGregor Boulevard and Gladiolus in the Iona area of South Fort Myers.
