Stevens Construction has promoted Terri Sobeck to controller, announced Mark Stevens, company president.
As controller, Sobeck is responsible for the planning and management of all accounting activities for the company’s three offices, including the preparation of the financial statements, budgets, payroll and taxes. Sobeck oversees all financial practices for the company including accounts payable and receivable.
Director of Administration since 2004, Sobeck has been a critical component to Stevens Construction since its inception. Sobeck also manages human resources, project administration and maintenance of the company’s records, policies and procedures.
Active in the community, Sobeck serves as Treasurer/Secretary on the board of directors for Dress for Success SW Florida. The Florida Gulf Coast University accounting graduate is also a coach for the Goodwill Southwest Florida Microenterprise Institute. Sobeck has been a member of the Timberline Users Group for Sage 300 Construction since 2007 and has recently been named membership committee chairperson.
