Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in September 2022.

Client Events in September 2022 - SWFL Craft Beer WeekThe Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s second annual SWFL Craft Beer Week runs five days and celebrates Southwest Florida’s craft breweries. 

Craft Beer Week begins with a kickoff party at HeadPinz Fort Myers, where attendees can pick up their VIP tickets and receive a sample beer tasting, light bites and a chance to win prizes. The week continues with a series of events and specialty beer releases at participating breweries throughout the week, in addition to opportunities for behind-the-scenes tours and insights into the industry. 

Participating breweries include Coastal Dayz Brewery, Crazy Dingo Brewing Co., Eight-Foot Brewing, Fort Myers Brewing Company, Millennial Brewing Company, Palm City Brewing Company, Point Ybel Brewing Company, Riptide Brewing Company and The Tubby Pig Brewpub.

Additional Client Events in September 2022 

Sept. 1-30: The 5th Annual Clips for Cancer is a month-long event that raises money to ensure that programs and services are available for local children diagnosed with cancer at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Southwest Florida community leaders will have their heads shaved by pediatric cancer survivors live on Facebook to rally donations and brave the shave in a personal show of solidarity for children battling cancer and other blood disorders. Sept. 1-30: Comerica Bank is hosting a “gomerica Gratitude Food Drive” for Harry Chapin Food Bank. Donations of canned soups, vegetables, fruits and meat, as well as breakfast cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, rice, boxed pasta and dry beans can be dropped off at Comerica’s Naples banking center during regular business hours. Sept. 7: Women in Business, a committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, will host a self-defense class at X3 Performance & Physical Therapy in partnership with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The principles of Women In Business are to focus on career, networking and our community. Light refreshments will be served and guests are encouraged to bring business cards. Sept. 7 & 29: Senior Choice at Home is hosting two Lunch and Learn informational seminars that outline its innovative, member-based program for independent, healthy older adults. Senior Choice at Home provides members with a lifelong commitment to care, asset protection and the ability to receive individualized care coordination, all from the comfort of their own home. Sept. 8: Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments, will be held at The Thompson Agency in Fort Myers. Guests are encouraged to bring business cards. LINK: Business Before Breakfast 

Sept. 9: Better Together is hosting Parents’ Night Out in Naples, a program that offers parents, grandparents and other caregivers access to several hours of no-cost care for children ages infant through 17 years old. Better Together will provide background-checked volunteers in addition to dinner, games and fun for children to enjoy while parents are away. LINK: Parents’ Night Out 

Sept. 10: The Lee Health Foundation is hosting “Mussel Up for Barbara’s Friends,” a fundraising event that supports the Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund. Supporters can purchase discounted tickets for $10, and $4 from each sale will support local children undergoing cancer treatments. LINK: Mussel Up 

Sept. 10: The 26th Annual LCEC United Way Fishing Tournament is a catch-and-release event that features cash awards and prizes, food, beverages, a silent auction and raffle. LINK: Fishing Tournament 

Sept. 13: Gulf Coast Village is hosting a Lunch & Learn event that explores the amenities and benefits of living in a Life Plan community, including chef-prepared meals, maintenance-free living, a campus of activities and clubs, and a full continuum of care. LINK: Lunch & Learn 

Sept. 13: Leadership NEXT, a monthly program for advancing business professionals, will visit Fort Rock Climbing Center in Fort Myers. Monthly sessions offer opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, establish working relationships with colleagues, and engage in valuable programs and discussions that enhance careers. Sept. 13: Better Together has scheduled a Better Families Volunteer Training session in Naples for attendees to learn about volunteer opportunities with the nonprofit, including those interested in becoming host families and volunteer coaches. LINK: Better Families 

Sept. 15: The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels will host Game 2 (and possibly Game 3) of the Florida State League Playoffs at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers. Tickets start at $11. LINK: Playoff Tickets 

Sept. 17: Aug. 20: Family Initiative is providing free autism screenings by appointment for children ages 1-3. The early assessment measures a child’s progress toward milestones in terms of how they play, learn, speak and act. LINK: Autism Screenings 

Sept. 17: Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to helping families in crisis and preventing the need for foster care, is hosting a luncheon in Naples that brings parents together for community, to support each other and to hear from experts while their children play supervised in another room. There is no cost to attend. LINK: Better Luncheon 

Sept. 22: The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon will explore crypto currency, offering attendees a history lesson, tips on investing, practical implication and other potential uses. LINK: Monthly Luncheon 

Sept. 22: Beers with your Peers, a night of casual networking created by the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, will convene at Mellow Mushroom in Fort Myers. LINK: Beers with Your Peers 

Sept. 24: Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz is the title sponsor for the 2022 Walk Like MADD 5K Southwest Florida at jetBlue Park in Fort Myers. The race is Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s signature fundraising event. LINK: Walk Like MADD 5K 

Sept. 29: The Guardian ad Litem Foundation, 20th Judicial Circuit, is hosting a fundraising event at Topgolf in Fort Myers to raise money for programs benefiting children and teens in foster care. The evening features golf, entertainment, prizes and a dinner buffet. LINK: Topgolf Event
