Vibe Yoga is offering parents an opportunity to plan a date night from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 13, 20 and 27 while kids ages 2-12 enjoy yoga, arts, crafts and games.
The sessions recognize the chaos that comes with back-to-school time, and the need for parents and children to experience calm. In addition, parents taking yoga classes at Vibe between Aug. 10-20 will receive a swag bag with a mini wine bottle, hand sanitizer, chocolates, face mask, sticker and a free week of yoga pass.
“As a mother of four children, including two teenagers, a toddler and an infant, and one on the way, I know about chaos,” said Lindsay Smith, founder of Vibe Yoga. “Yoga has provided me and my children a place of calm that has been beneficial physically and emotionally. It is my passion to offer this to the community.”
Classes are limited to 10 children per session, and will include mindful activities, crafts, breath control exercises with instruments, music parties with movement and story time. Cost is $40 per child, with a sibling discount of $15 per child.
