Weekend Brunch on the Bay, Prime Rib Wednesday, new Happy Hour martinis now offered at Matanzas on the Bay

Matanzas on the Bay on Fort Myers Beach has introduced a variety of new offerings for restaurant-goers to enjoy, including Weekend Brunch on the Bay from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, Prime Rib Wednesday every Wednesday, and a new Happy Hour martini menu available at Matanzas on the Bay’s downstairs bar.

“At Matanzas on the Bay, guests can indulge in a wide variety of delicious dishes and drinks any day of the week, and we are excited to introduce Weekend Brunch on the Bay, Prime Rib Wednesday and Happy Hour martinis for our guests to enjoy,” said Tony Coppolino, general manager of Matanzas on the Bay. “What better way to spend your week than with great food, live music and waterfront views?”

Weekend Brunch on the Bay will feature four dishes and a selection of drink specials, paired with daily live musical performances. The menu will feature Gulf Shrimp and Cheesy Grits, tender Gulf shrimp, stone-ground grits with a touch of cheddar cheese and served with a side of home-fried potatoes for $15; Raspberry Stuffed French Toast, a sliced baguette with brown sugar, fresh raspberries and cream cheese, griddled and served with Vermont maple syrup for $13; Maine Lobster Benedict, a toasted English muffin, poached egg, Maine lobster, homemade hollandaise sauce and asparagus, served with a side of home-fried potatoes for $21; and Spanish Breakfast Burrito, featuring eggs, chorizo and shredded cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla with sautéed potatoes, peppers and onions, and finished with pico de dallo for $12. Select drinks will also be offered for $6, including the Matanzas’ Mary with homemade Bloody Mary mix, Gulf cocktail shrimp, pickle, olive, citrus and extreme green bean, the Mimosa with champagne and chilled orange juice, and the Poinsettia champagne cocktail with cranberry juice.

Prime Rib Wednesday will be offered every Wednesday at Matanzas on the Bay. Menu options feature two cuts of prime rib, including the 10-ounce Queen Cut with choice of potato and mixed vegetables for $26, and the 12-ounce King Cut with choice of potato and mixed vegetables for $29.

Matanzas on the Bay has introduced a new Happy Hour martini menu to its downstairs bar. The new martini menu features the Blue Fire Gin Martini, Appletini, Berry Blast made with Pinnacle Raspberry Vodka, Mint Chocolate Rum Martini and Purple Kiss Vodka Martini, each available for $6. Happy Hour is available from 3 to 6 p.m. every day.

Matanzas on the Bay and Petey’s Upper Deck are best known for waterfront views, fresh seafood and old Florida ambience and is located at 416 Crescent St. on Fort Myers Beach on Estero Bay.
