Women in Business’ Oct. 6 networking event to focus on breast cancer awareness

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee will spotlight breast cancer awareness during its networking social on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

The program will feature Robert Stanfill, M.D., a skilled women’s imaging radiologist and board member for Radiology Regional who will speak about the importance of annual screening mammograms and cancer awareness. Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, Stanfill received his undergraduate degree from Drake University and medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed his internship in preliminary medicine and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, where he was chief resident, followed by a fellowship in breast imaging.

With over 50 years of patient care, Radiology Regional is a premier diagnostic facility with a team of more than 40 board-certified radiologists, registered technologists and other specialists serving patients at 13 locations across Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. The company is providing a discounted rate to uninsured patients scheduling their annual screenings now through Nov. 30. Screenings can be scheduled at 239-936-4068, RadiologyRegional.com or at the Women in Business event.
