The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee will offer valuable insight on local pet adoption during its adoption awareness networking event on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Bell Tower in Fort Myers.

The Women in Business program will showcase Gulf Coast Humane Society and its more than 70 years of animal welfare efforts in Southwest Florida. Gulf Coast Humane Society, which is also the program’s nonprofit spotlight, provides humane care for surrendered animals by offering refuge, medical care and a second chance at finding permanent, adoptable homes. During the adoption awareness event, attendees will have an opportunity to meet local adoptable dogs, sip on cold refreshments and network with fellow business professionals.

The networking event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Bell Tower, located at 13499 S. Cleveland Ave., Suite 161, in Fort Myers. This month’s program is hosted by Bell Tower and sponsored by Collins Vision. The November Scholarship Sponsor is Chelsea Scomak of Conte Wealth Advisors and her canine Gulf Coast Humane Society alum, Koda.
The Women in Business program is $10 for members of the Chamber and $20 for future members. Admission includes light appetizers provided by Burntwood Tavern and one complimentary beverage. Attendees can register in advance at FortMyers.org or call 239-332-2930.
