The Florida Everblades hockey team has partnered with Wonder Gardens to help raise funds for the Bonita Springs attraction at the Everblades game against the Orlando Solar Bears at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at Hertz Arena.

Wonder Gardens supporters will receive a $6 discount on the price of premium level seats, and Wonder Gardens will receive $17 for each $30 ticket purchased at tinyrul.com/everblades. A pregame tailgate with bounce houses and live music will be outside Hertz arena from 5 to 7 p.m.

“The Everblades, like the Wonder Gardens, are important drivers of tourism for Southwest Florida, so it is great to be able to support each other,” said Neil Anderson, Wonder Gardens executive director. “We grateful for the community support as we raise money for repairs to our structures damaged by Hurricane Ian.”

The Wonder Gardens does not receive taxpayer funding or support. Improvements, maintenance, staff and animal care are paid for by admissions, memberships, giftshop sales, fundraisers and donations.

Only tickets purchased for the Feb. 11 game at tinyrul.com/everblades will benefit the Wonder Gardens. For additional information about the fundraiser, also visit facebook.com/TheWonderGardens.

About Wonder Gardens

The Wonder Gardens, a charitable zoological park and botanical garden in Bonita Springs, is home to rescued birds and reptiles nestled among sprawling banyan trees and plantings. While preserving the best of this site’s 86-year history, the nonprofit cares for rescued, rehabilitated, and non-releasable animals, is upgrading wildlife enclosures and growing the botanical beauty of the property, while delivering education programs and events and further engaging the community to enjoy this jewel in historic Downtown Bonita Springs. The Wonder Gardens at 27180 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs is one of the few remaining cornerstones of Old Florida, an enduring symbol of the history of the region, as well as a resource for learning about the environment and wildlife.
