Wynn’s Market, a locally owned and operated grocery store, will commemorate its 80th anniversary with a weekend-long celebration from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. The celebrations will take place on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m., offering live music, food samples, wine tastings and special discounts. As part of its anniversary celebration, 10 percent of the sales during the events will benefit local charities.
The free weekend-long celebration will include food samplings, hor d’oeuvres, wine and caviar tastings, and special discounts on select wines, as well as live musical performances by The Vanderbilt Strings on Saturday and local guitarist Gianna Minichiello on Sunday. Guests can also enjoy specially-priced cakes from the bakery throughout the weekend, featuring original recipes from Annie Wynn, co-founder of Wynn’s Market. Bill Barnett, Mayor of the City of Naples will attend the event on Friday, and Tim Wynn, president of Wynn’s Market and Wynn’s Catering will be present throughout the weekend to thank the community for its continued support.
